  • Lethal weapon Heather Locklear is back in jail for allegedly punching a police officer and kicked a paramedic on Sunday night

Heather Locklear has been arrested again for allegedly attacking a police officer.

For Locklear, 56, "this is her second arrest for battery of deputies", the story notes.

He says Locklear appeared extremely intoxicated when deputies arrived at her Southern California home after a domestic dispute call at about 11 p.m. Sunday.

After paramedics arrived, Heather also allegedly kicked an EMT while she was being put on a gurney, TMZ reports.

Locklear was then booked for misdemeanor battery on the officer and the medic, and is being held on $20,000 bail.

She is now being held on a $20,000 bail.

Friends have spoken out recently to say that they don't think Heisser is good for Heather's sobriety and say that he has alienated her from her friends and family. In 2008, she was arrested on a DUI charge, and in 2012 she was hospitalized after a prescription drug scare. The actress sought treatment shortly after her arrest. Each count of Heather's misdemeanor battery on a peace officer carries a possibility of one year in jail.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Locklear was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation on June 17 after she allegedly assaulted her parents and threatened to kill herself. When medics were working on her, she kicked one in the chest, authorities said.

"Her family wants to see her focus on her health and sobriety and once that's in place, she can then start fresh with a new man", the source said.

Investigators had learned that Locklear had a gun registered in her name, and after hearing this went to seize the weapon. She reportedly pleaded not guilty to the incident in April.
