McCain: Trump halting Korean military exercises a 'bad negotiating tactic'

President Donald Trump started Wednesday morning by touting his biggest accomplishment in diplomacy with North Korea and its leader Kim Jong Un:all but eliminating the threat of nuclear war.
By claiming that the North Korean nuclear threat has disappeared, Trump also risks weakening the USA negotiating position in talks on denuclearization that were mandated by the summit and will be led from the U.S. side by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Pompeo also stressed that there will be no lifting of sanctions, or any kind of economic benefits given to North Korea, . before its complete denuclearization.
