  • Rudy Giuliani Booed By Fans At New York Yankees Game After Stadium Announcer Wishes Him A Happy Birthday

Fans did not share the sentiment, the New York Daily News noted, as Giuliani was greeted with a chorus of boos from the Yankees faithful.

The Yankees public address announcer told the crowd that the former mayor and current Trump lawyer was in attendance, and wished him a happy birthday.

The rough treatment is likely related to Rudy Giuliani's new role as the attack dog for Donald Trump.

Giuliani became the 107th mayor of New York City in 1994.

Giuliani served as mayor from January 1994 to December 2001. Scarborough took this as striking evidence that Giuliani has undermined his image as "America's mayor" by acting as Trump's legal pitbull.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News Sunday, the lawyer said: "The president's not going to fire them because that would be playing into the hands of playing the victim, Watergate".

The 74-year-old made a decision to mark the occasion by donning his Yankees cap and returning to the Bronx for the Yankees' Memorial Day game against the Houston Astros on Monday.

After the apocalyptic attack on New York City on September 11, 2001, Mayor Rudy Giuliani became known as "America's Mayor" and earned the title of Time's Man of the Year in 2001.
