Forecasters expect Thursday night to be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m., and a low around 68.

Tuesday A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm.

Ryan McPike, a KMTV meteorologist, said the enhanced risk means the Omaha area could get heavy rain, high winds, hail and possibly a tornado.

Thunderstorms were moving through the region this morning, and are expected to continue tonight and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. North wind 3 to 6 miles per hour.

Friday's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 70 and an overnight low of 43. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. The high will be near 81 with a south wind of 11 to 16 miles per hour, gusting as high as 30 miles per hour. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 73. Sunday Night: 20 percent chance of showers/thunderstorms, partly cloudy - low around 57.




A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy and the temps will reach about 63 degrees.

A chance of rain showers before 4am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Mostly cloudy skies will hang around Thursday night and the low temp will be around 38 degrees.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
