Ms Markle told Invictus hopefuls competing in the United Kingdom team trials she would be in Australia, the host country of this years games, to experience the competitors' journey from selection through to the games.

MEGHAN Markle is letting her maternal instincts come through and hugging children and fans at royal engagements, despite it contradicting royal protocol.

Maurillia Simpson, who injured her leg while training for Afghanistan, told the magazine she joked with Markle about Britain's gloomy weather. The couple spent their day meeting the athletes who are wounded-and-recovering service members as well as veterans of the Invictus Games.

"We can just have so much fun together, and yet, I'll still find so much solace in her support", the bride-to-be told Glamour past year. Queen Mother started this when she married King George VI.

Harry's previous girlfriends have often struggled under the royal spotlight, royal biographer Andrew Morton said, but Meghan shines under it. And Markle added, "That means a lot to me". An athlete named Stephen Sebburn explained how the future princess asked about his family life and was "very open".

"She asked loads about me".

Now, before the pair officially announced their relationship to the world they had to be a little bit sneaky about seeing each other, which makes sense, no one wants to go on their third date with the media of the world watching and photographing your every move. "It's great that she's here and so supportive".

Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle meet local school children during a visit to Birmingham, Britain, March 8, 2018. In 2017, Markle accompanied Harry to the games where the two were snapped watching the wheelchair tennis match and sat together at the closing ceremonies.

There will also be an opportunity to write a prayer for the happy couple on bunting that will be hung around the close.

Of course, Harry has always held his own and even as a kid could command a room as the impish counterpart to his more dutiful big brother, Prince William.
