It appears there will be a set amount of places on the map which will see Vending Machines appear, but they won't always been in the same place. Panic buying in the face of minute snowfall is bad enough-imagine how strapped for resources we'll be during an extinction event?

The addition of Vending Machines to Fortnite follows the game's most recent update, which saw the inclusion of devastating new weaponry like guided missiles, new battle modes, graphical updates and bug fixes.

The Fortnite vending machines went live yesterday, with the new feature letting Battle Royale players trade spare materials for items. Each machine has three different deals to offer, with the items and their rarity chosen at random. The machines will cycle through the three available items on a short timer, but you can speed the timer up by bashing the machine with your pickaxe.

"Every other week we will drop new content without the need for an update".

Items found in a Rare (blue) version will cost 300 materials.

If you're looking for the Fortnite Vending Machine Locations then we've found quite a few.

Items found in a Epic (purple) version will cost 400 materials.

Vending Machines are unique from the other objects in that they allow players to trade in their excess materials for new weaponry.

Items found in a Legendary (gold) version will cost 500 materials. Epic will also now be updating the game every two weeks. The update also introduces Limited-Time Mode, another High Explosives mode, weapon balances, which may also include a "first shot accuracy" ability.
