Missing worker feared dead after Texas chemical plant blasts

One Person is missing and another is injured after an explosion at a chemical plant in Texas.
Cresson mayor Bob Cornett said that seven fire departments were battling the fire, but firefighters had to pull back from the scene due to the risk of additional explosions.
The explosion took place at Tri-Chem Industries in Cresson, located about 20 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Crews were eventually evacuated from the vicinity due to the risk of another explosion and possible exposure to unsafe chemicals.
The employee who dragged his foot caught fire from the waist up, and he was airlifted to a Dallas hospital with severe burn injuries. However, Austin Mitchell says his brother, 27-year-old Dylan Mitchell, is the missing worker.
Billowing smoke from the fire has forced the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to close part of southbound Highway 377 in Hood County and State Highway 171 in Cresson.
He also said the earliest rescuers will be able to start searching for Mitchell will be on Friday morning, once the fire has extinguished itself. After the flames calmed, crews entered the wreckage for another search for Mitchell but found nothing and ended for the night, Cornett said late Thursday. He didn't know when they would resume the search.
Authorities say 12 people were working at the plant at the time of the explosion.
The Environmental Protection Agency deployed an on-site co-ordinator to help monitor air emissions, spokesman David Gray said.
