  • Bride on way to wedding arrested for DUI after car crash

Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department in Arizona tweeted a photo of the bride, Amber Young, 32, of Tucson, wearing a long, white wedding dress as an officer escorted her into a waiting vehicle.

Chriswell Scott, Amber Young was arrested and booked around 10:30 a.m.at the scene of a three auto accident. An occupant in one of the other vehicles sustained minor, non-life threatening injuries, and was sent to a hospital, Scott said.

The Marana Police Department tweeted a photo showing the bride-to-be being detained at the scene.

Scott tweeted, 'A driver was arrested for DUI this AM while driving to her wedding. @MaranaPD officers arrived at OG/Thornydale at approx 1030 reference a three vehicle collision.

He said: "This could've turned out way worse than it did". After signing a criminal citation, she was released to her fiance, according to KVOA in Tucson.

Do you think that Scott went too far by tweeting the photo of Young on her wedding day? Young's blood alcohol level was not revealed. Punishment is assured if a person's BAC is 0.08 percent or above, but Arizona law allows consequences if there is impairment "to the slightest degree".
