Samsung to launch its latest budget smartphone Galaxy On7 Prime in India today. It will go on sale in the country starting from 20 January on Amazon.

The Galaxy On7 Prime (2018) is fitted with a 5.5-inch PLS TFT LCD display that carries support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

If previous launch patterns are any indication, Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime is expected to go on sale on the day of the announcement.

The feature let's users do "Visual Search" that is, click a picture of any product and then Samsung Mall shows search results of similar products from across online shopping sites. It could also help Samsung copy Apple's popular Animoji feature. Now, the Galaxy A8+, sporting a dual front camera set-up, is doing that for the company in the field of dual selfie camera set-up.

This rumor stemmed from Samsung's announcement that it had developed a 512 GB capacity for onboard storage to allow devices to support large multimedia files, particularly high-quality videos.

If you made it through the holiday season without buying a new smartphone (or getting one as a gift) you may be itching for an upgrade. The front camera has same sensor and aperture but comes off without the autofocus. (Unfortunately, the device doesn't use the newer Exynos 7872 SoC, which is substantially faster.) In India, it'll come with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. The Home button houses the fingerprint sensor, and having it on the front is a rarity for Android smartphones these days. Furthermore, the OS is Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the themed Samsung Experience 8.5 UI.

That said, the On7 Prime is aggressively priced (for a Samsung device), with the base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage retailing for ₹12,990 ($200).

The Galaxy On7 Prime reminds you of Samsung's traditional design. (Aperture refers to the size of the opening that light passes through.) Offering two different apertures at f/1.5 and f/2.4 (as listed on the leaked box) would make it possible to take in extra light in darker settings. With all the right specifications, Samsung brand name, and a tempting price, the Galaxy A8+ is on the right track to being a blockbuster. The latest one to join the lineup is the Galaxy On7 Prime.

It comes with Samsung Mall feature that aids in online shopping. The Galaxy J7 Prime became an instant hit upon its launch in India.
