  • Dylan Farrow slams stars supporting Time's Up, but working with Woody Allen

After posting a photo of himself and wife Jessica Biel wearing black in support of #TimesUp on both Twitter and Instagram, the singer faced serious backlash from fans for his work with director Woody Allen.

"I thought it would make a difference". Golden Globes nominees Emma Stone, Sam Rockwell - who won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, a film on the aftermath of sexual violence - and Hugh Jackman have been in Woody Allen movies and Timothee Chalamet is in his new movie, A Rainy Day In New York, releasing this year.

Hours before the Golden Globes aired, Dylan Farrow tweeted a reminder of why she went public with her accusations against her father some years ago.

Allen eventually left Farrow for one of her other children, daughter Soon-Yi Previn. I saw how much she put into it and how hard she worked.

'Woody Allen is a living testament to the way our society fails the survivors of sexual assault and abuse.

We can no longer let these men represent us in entertainment, politics, or any other realm.

The 32-year-old said that she stood in solidarity with the women attending the Golden Globes and making a stand against gender parity by dressing in all black, but added that the people of Hollywood need to remember that they have a real opportunity to make this moment count. Lively has been speaking out against sexual harassment for months, but when The Hollywood Reporter asked her about Farrow's allegation against Allen, she had this to say: "It's fantastic what Woody has written for women". I thought things would change.

"That said", she continued, "the people who join this movement without taking any kind of personal accountability for the ways in which their own words and decisions have helped to perpetuate the culture they are fighting against, that's hard for me to reconcile".

Operation Black on the Golden Globes red carpet was always going to be tricky to navigate - especially for those who have films on their resume with the dodgy likes of Woody Allen.

"It's one of my most heartbreaking mistakes". "Am I a woman who matters too?".

I know that many of us watching this from the outside are infuriated by this hypocrisy.
