The amendment allows for the removal of a president if the vice president and a majority of the cabinet deem him physically or mentally unable to perform his duties.

Miller claimed that Stephen Bannon's role in the Trump White House has been "greatly exaggerated".

"This, is I think, not an exaggeration and it's not unreasonable to say: This is 25th Amendment kind of stuff", he told NBC's Chuck Todd.

Trump publicly broke with Bannon last week after the remarks were publicized before the book's publication.

Donald Trump's least presidential moments so far.

Miller tried to protest, but Tapper quickly said, 'Thank you Stephen.' The camera panned away from the White House aide as Tapper started reading from the teleprompter, readying his audience the next segment. He's not going to succeed.

Watch Miller's interview above. Earlier, he hailed the series of meetings as a success but still panned "Fire and Fury" as a "Fake Book".

At the end of an extremely tense and heated interview with White House senior policy advisor Stephen Miller, CNN anchor Jake Tapper seemingly had enough and chose to end the segment.

Mr. Miller denounced the book as "very poorly written fiction" and "garbage".

He said his description of the "treasonous" and "unpatriotic" meeting was aimed at former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, not Trump's son. "He should have known they are duplicitous, cunning and not our friends". Already isolated from the Republican Party establishment, the fight over the book has left Bannon further alienated, with one of his chief financial backers, Rebekah Mercer, issuing a rare public rebuke of him in which she promised to sever ties.

My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda - as I have shown daily in my national radio broadcasts, on the pages of Breitbart News and in speeches and appearances from Tokyo and Hong Kong to Arizona and Alabama. Miller also co-wrote Trump's inauguration address with Steve Bannon and has continued to be a key player in the Trump administration. Ronald Reagan had the same problem and handled it well.

Miller also staunchly defended the President's tweets Saturday morning, in which he defended himself as a "very stable genius" and said his two greatest assets throughout his life have been "mental stability and being, like, really smart".

Pompeo tells "Fox News Sunday" that Trump is "completely fit" to be commander in chief and that it's "ludicrous" he's being asked such a question.

"I deal with President Trump". Congress members summoned an Ivy League psychiatrist to Washington to discuss Mr Trump's mental fitness last month, according to Politico. The bill now has 56 co-sponsors.

"It reads like an angry, vindictive person spouting off to a highly discredible author", Miller told host Jake Tapper on CNN's State of the Union.
