State Department Reveals Emails Recovered from Clinton Aide Huma Abedin's Laptop

  • Report Department of Justice reopens investigation into Hillary’s email server

The US Justice Department (DOJ) has begun a new investigation into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton was Barack Hussein Obama's Secretary of State.

President Trump made his first "Crooked Hillary" Twitter post less than 48 hours into the new year on Tuesday, accusing a former Clinton aide of "disregarding basic security protocols", and calling his own Justice Department a "deep state".

It was the latest statement from the commander-in-chief over his former Democratic opponent's email usage.

According to TheDCNF's Luke Rosiak, Abedin's yahoo email address contained official emails forwarded from her state department account before all Yahoo addresses were hacked.

In December, he tweeted about Clinton herself, saying, "Many people in our Country are asking what the "Justice" Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and "acid washed" 33,000 Emails?"

"Few matters have been more scrutinized than emails, and it was determined that there was no wrongdoing", he continued.

"Where are the voices of all the leaders who know an independent Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation are essential to our liberty?"

Nor was it apparent when federal officials chose to take a fresh look at the emails.

Sessions, he wrote, "directed senior federal prosecutors to evaluate certain issues" that Goodlatte wanted to know about.

He said Comey's "inner circle" had "predetermined opinions" about Clinton and Trump.

Swecker suspected Comey let his "inner circle" dictate the Clinton and Trump investigations, which led to them being allegedly tainted by political actions like Agent Peter Strzok's text messages.

The discovery of the emails, some marked as classified, prompted former FBI Director James Comey to announce in October 2016, just weeks before the presidential election, that he would reopen the probe into Clinton's use of a private email server. The findings from a separate Justice Department probe into the FBI's handling of the email scandal will be released this spring.

Trump has called for Clinton to be investigated even after winning the election.
