Central Intelligence Agency helped Russian Federation halt terrorist attack

On Friday, Russia's FSB security service said it had arrested seven members of an Islamist terror group planning "the killing of citizens" in a series of suicide attacks in Russia's second city on December 16.

Putin, in his phone call with Trump, said Russian Federation would alert U.S. authorities if it received any information about any attack being planned on the United States, Interfax quoted the Kremlin as saying.

The group was planning to blow up the Kazan Cathedral in St Petersburg. "No Russian lives were lost and the terrorist attackers were caught and are now incarcerated".
