  • Ryan Toys Review is currently the eighth-highest earning channel on YouTube. The star? Six-year-old Ryan

To truly quantify Ryan's growing reach, a year ago The Verge did a profile on the meteoric rise of "the youngest YouTube star we've ever seen".

This week Forbes released its annual list of highest-paid YouTubers, a prodigious sampling of channels, and the people associated with them, making ungodly sums of money doing impressively mundane things. Ryan, whose last name and location is kept private, has more than 10 million subscribers and is a viral sensation among kids all over, as reported by The Washington Post. The insane number of views and subscribers on Ryan's channel have him tied for eighth place on the list of the highest paid YouTubers in the world along with Smosh, a sketch-comedy duo.

With the YouTube channels rolling in the dough, that's his college fund (and his sisters') all settled, we think. He is the host of Ryan ToysReview, a popular toy-review channel on YouTube, is also reportedly a multi-millionaire.

Over the course of two years, the six-year-old has gone from being an average American kid to a star in his own right - one who is highly sought after by toymakers and children's content producers alike to endorse their brand/products; because who else to preach to kids than a child himself?

"Ryan loves Toys. Toys Review for kids by a kid!" Most of the toys are then donated to charity after the videos are published.

It has over 802 MILLION VIEWS.

The reason for the prominence of these channels is that a child does a review of toys.

That's his first review video of a GIANT EGG SURPRISE OPENING containing Lightning McQueen toys. Ryan's videos, which are produced and posted nearly daily by his parents, racked up over 8 billion views.

The YouTube channel has attracted a huge following of parents and children who watch Ryan test out new toys and give his thoughts on them.
