  • 'Oh, you mean toy like the one Matt Lauer gave to his coworker?': SNL pokes fun at Santa's 'Naughty List' of alleged

This week, on "Saturday Night Live", cast member Kenan Thompson appeared as a beleaguered mall Santa and Kate McKinnon as an elf - both of whom are faced with kids asking some very grown-up questions. "What list is he on?" the precocious Tyler asks.

The young boy then asked about Republican National Party candidate from Alabama Roy Moore who is also now facing allegations of sexual harassment. After fumbling through a response, Santa chalks it up to the boy as Franken being on Santa's naughty list this year.

Sugarplum - who then asks to be called Amy "in the current climate" - refuses, forcing Santa to tell Tyler that "Al Franken is on Santa's naughty list this year".

The next child asked, "Is President Trump on the naughty list?".

"Well, you know, Santa tries to stay out of political matters", Thompson said.

Jost contributed by noting Donald Trump's advise to Roy Moore - "go get 'em, Roy" - was definitely not an appropriate thing to say to an accused child molester. McKinnon's character chimed in, adding, "19 accusers".

"Look Jessica I'm sure we can all learn a lesson from what's going on in the news", says Santa.

She replied: 'I learned that if you admit you did something wrong, you get in trouble - but if you deny it you get to keep your job'.

The rest of the kids talked about NFL players kneeling for the National Anthem, the "dying" coal industry, the GOP tax plan, "feminazis, "opioids, Trump moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, and the sexual harassment allegations against fired NBC host Matt Lauer".

"I want a Barbie", says one particularly jaded girl.

"Where they hell do they get these kids from?!"

The skit addressed a number of other sexual misconduct allegations that have come to light in recent weeks, including past allegations against Trump and those against Franken.

"You mean like the one Matt Lauer gave to his co-worker?" the next kid asked.

"Okay, good", Jenny said.

McKinnon continued: "But as bad as things might seem, I promise you, it will be okay". Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not for another three years, 42 days and 24 minutes, but most people in America are good people.

Jenny said she'd put all her money in Bitcoin just in case.
