Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Nasruddin Amer said bin Salman has recently threatened that the Riyadh-led aggression against Yemen would not stop and that the Saudi regime will not allow "another Hezbollah" to be formed in Yemen.

United Nations officials say Yemen is facing the world's largest cholera outbreak, near-famine conditions in places, and a severe breakdown in the health care system in what was already the Arab world's poorest country — adding up to the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

Airport director Khaled Al Shayef said that apart from the vaccinations shipment a flight carrying eight employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross had also landed.

It was not clear if fuel imports, crucial for supplying clean water, would resume as part of the easing of the blockade, he said.

"To feed the 7 million people suffering severe starvation, we need this kind of access on a regular basis, as we had before November 5", Etefa said.

Seven million Yemenis are completely dependent on humanitarian supplies for their survival, according to the UN.

An official from the rebel-run civil aviation authority confirmed that the flights had landed.

The coalition announced the closure of Yemen's air, land and sea borders on November 6, two days after a ballistic missile fired from the rebel-held territory in Yemen was intercepted over the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The UN Children's Fund said Saturday's flight was carrying more than 15 tonnes, or 1.9 million doses, of vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus and other preventable diseases.

The missile was struck down but it was the farthest a projectile by the rebels, also known as Houthis, had penetrated into the kingdom.

The coalition joined the Yemen war in March 2015, after the Houthis forced President Abed-Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his government to flee their temporary headquarters in the southern port city of Aden into exile in Saudi Arabia. The UN said in August that more than 20 million people are at risk from starvation in Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan and the northeast of Nigeria.

"We have been notified through our usual contacts with the coalition in Riyadh that the regular passenger flights operated by (the U.N. Humanitarian Air Service) can fly tomorrow to Sanaa from Amman starting tomorrow", said spokesman Jens Laerke of the U.N. humanitarian aid coordination agency OCHA at U.N. briefing in Geneva on Friday.

Since Nov. 6, the United Nations and global aid agencies have repeatedly urged the coalition to lift the Yemen blockade.
