Padmavati : Rajput group threatens protests in UK!

This is to notice that the film Padmavati is facing controversies regarding its content and Rajput Karni Sena is protesting against the film.

However, even if the producers of Padmavati got a favourable order from the apex court against Sharma's new plea and also received a nod from the Indian censor board for the movie's release, they may still not be out of the woods.

Lawyer Sharma had placed this petition before the bench for an immediate hearing. The British Board of Film Certification did not go down too well with the Rajput Samaj UK. The court will hear an advocate's plea against the release of the movie in the foreign countries on Tuesday, November 28.

The movie has been given a 12A rating by the BBFC citing "moderate violence, injury detail", and has given the movie a go-ahead for screening without any cuts. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali "s film 'Padmavati" is not taking the name of the shortage of problems.

Well, the film was supposed to release on 1st December 2017, but due to these protests and CBFC delays now the film has been postponing for the next year. The movie which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has allowed the film to be released on December 1, but close sources of filmmakers say that the film will not be released anywhere on December 1.

Padmavati is based on the legend that Alauddin Khijli (played by Ranveer Singh) invades Chittor to capture the already-married Queen Padmini, (played by Deepika Padukone).
