Tuesday will not start quite as cold, but you will still want a jacket. We will see temps moderate a bit into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon with mostly sunny skies.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies, with a high near 60. Lows will be near or below freezing on Monday night. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour under mostly clear skies.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, temperature falling to around 31 by 5 p.m. Winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. The high will be 52, after a morning low of 35. Showers have returned to the region overnight, and are expected to continue through your Monday.

As storm clouds head eastward, Tuesday should be mostly cloudy, with Wednesday mostly sunny.

Wednesday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of 65 and an overnight low of 39. A cold front will travel over the state Tuesday afternoon and bring a slight chance for rain.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, high near 40.

An upper-level trough will gradually slide east of the area, as high pressure tiptoes into the southern Plain.

Monday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 43.

Friday night, the low will be around 44 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.
