Google Assistant's New Feature Can ID Songs

One of the users wrote,"I have the new Pixel 2 (not XL) and the mic stopped working for me". This one bears a relation to Bluetooth, one of the Google Pixel's old nemeses, but it's an issue that's unlikely to disrupt too many users.

If the Pixel User Community forums are any indication, it would seem that this is not an isolated incident, as many are chiming in with the same problem. One of the users wrote on the forum, "I am not sure why, but the Pixel 2 XL screen flashes when unlocking (fingerprint and lock button), when the screen wakes up because of notifications, when the screen dims and the phone locks, and when manually locking". Google is aware of the problem but it hasn't yet discussed a timescale for a fix. This seemingly confirms that the screen flashing issue is related to software.

Specifically, Verizon is now offering you up to 50% off a brand new Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL if you trade-in an eligible device. The Pixel Buds are supported by any Android device running Marshmallow or above and also it supports Apple iPhones running on iOS 10 or higher.

Internet giant Google is having a hard time with the launch of its latest flagship devices, the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. I have had the same exact symptoms as everyone here so it may be for us all. Apparently, there is a fix that might bring the microphone back to work.
