It is the eighth consecutive season in which at least one Rockies player has won a Gold Glove, the fifth year in which there have been two winners on the Rockies, the second campaign in which Arenado and LeMahieu both won (also 2014). This was Arenado's fifth consecutive award. Fans will be able to select one player among the 2017 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners from each league.

Goldschmidt, 30, captured his third Gold Glove distinction to cap a stellar season that puts him firmly in the MVP conversation.

Dozier, 30, played in 152 games, and committed just five errors in 674 total chances. Since moving to the outfield in 2010, his 82 assists are tied for most in the Majors with Gerardo Parra.

Each manager and up to six members of his staff vote from a pool of qualified players in their league, and can't vote for players on their team. Since that time, Heyward leads all of Major League Baseball with 138 defensive runs saved in the outfield.

Hosmer played in all 162 games for the first time in his career, seeing action at first base in 157 of them, which led the American League.

ยท Has the highest fielding percentage (.991) among all second basemen in NL history (min. 650 games).

But as Tuesday's revealing of the Gold Glove winners proved, the Lincoln Southeast graduate can still work the glove. The duo both won the award at their respective positions in 2014.
