Apple's iOS 11 Keyboard Glitch Has iPhone Owners Bugging Out

  • How Apple is dealing with the ‘big autocorrect’ issue on iOS 11.1 update

But some users who have it in hand already are reporting that it shipped with an ironic Autocorrect glitch-one that makes it incredibly frustrating to type.

The firm rolled out Apple Pay Cash today for those enrolled in its public beta program, and it's set to arrive to all USA customers once iOS 11.2 and watchOS 4.2 become available. "Get it together Apple".

In an act of damage control, Apple has published a guideline to help fix the bug in its official website. "We know you knew what would happen with this update @Apple@AppleSupport" took center-stage on Twitter.

When Apple announced iOS 11, it spent a lot of time explaining Apple Pay Cash, a new peer-to-peer service that allowed friends to exchange money over iMessage.

Apple Pay Cash uses the debit or credit card linked to your Apple Pay account. Apple said developers will be able to set up introductory pricing options in iTunes Connect soon.

You can send or receive a minimum payment of $1 per message.

The issue is believed to only affect users with iOS 11 or later.

As we can see from the video the new iOS 11.2 beta boots up faster than the current release of iOS on the iPhone 5S, it also appears to be faster within the apps.

This workaround fix should mean that the system prioritizes the manually-added user text replacement over the weird garbled mess that iOS is errantly suggesting. No fees apply for debit cards, but you'll have to pay an "industry standard" fee for credit cards.
