Classic servers are not unknown quantities in World of Warcraft but they have all been unofficial.

If you've tried leveling through World of Warcraft recently, you know how imperfect it is.

With the expansion inbound we also have 2 new continents coming Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Sadly, this server will be a huge undertaking and probably won't be ready for a while, but the process can be sped up if anyone who owns one of the original server blades sends it back to Blizzard.

For those wondering, vanilla World of Warcraft refers to World of Warcraft as it was - or roughly as it was - when the game shipped in 2004.

"Fans of World of Warcraft around the world, we hear you", Brack told the crowd. Earn the favor of the Highmountain tauren, Void elves, Dark Iron dwarves, and others to create a new character of that race and add their strength to your faction.

Blizzard capped off the opening ceremony for BlizzCon 2017 with several major announcements for one of its most venerable titles "that also has incredible shoulder pads", World of Warcraft.

Announced at Blizzcon, World of Warcraft Classic seems to take the game all the way back to the beginning, giving players the same experience they once had in Azeroth. The time for compromise has passed, however, and now Azeroth is on the brink of world war.

Battle for Azeroth will allow players to venture through the regions Zalandar and Kul Tiras in an effort to recruit allies for the war effort. On top of the expected increased level caps and new zones, the expansion will focus on the age-old conflict between World of Warcraft's two factions, the Alliance and the Horde.

No release date or specific details have been revealed, but more information about the official classic servers for World of Warcraft might be released over the duration of BlizzCon. This feature will be rolling out soon in the public test realm servers, likely dropping in the main game before either Battle for Azeroth or Classic arrive. The more powerful theHeart of Azeroth, the more powerful abilities can be given to the armor.
