Keep on eye on App Trigger for more news and announcements relating to Overwatch coming from BlizzCon 2017! Capable of healing allies and dealing huge damage to enemies, she's a force we're very eager to cause chaos with when she arrives in the near future.

Creative director Jeff Kaplan described the character something of a hybrid character, which is something a bit unusual for Overwatch, but was looking forward to seeing the character in the hands of players-even jokingly describing the characters as "OP AF".

Moira is Overwatch's 26th playable character. Blizard has already launched the hero page for Moira which details her skills.

Trusted Reviews has gone ahead and compiled everything you need to know about the new hero alongside all the other big Overwatch news from Blizzcon 2017. She looks utterly badass, and we can't wait to see her skins, too. She is also able to teleport which will supposedly make her one of the most mobile support heroes yet.

Coalescence - Moira channels a long-range beam that both heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage her enemies.

In addition to Moira, a brand new Overwatch map was shown off as well. The map is part assault and part payload and it will be going live early 2018 and will be on the PTR soon.

That was in reference to BlizzardWorld, a new map coming to the game that takes the form of a fantastic Blizzard theme park. There's also a new animated short exploring the origins of hammer-wielding tank, Reinhardt.

Are you excited to play as Moira in Overwatch?
