  • Woman Says Harvey Weinstein Forcibly Performed Oral Sex on Her During Her Period

Calling him "extremely persistent and physically overpowering", Mimi Haleyi on Tuesday accused the entertainment mogul of sexually assaulting her using force at his home in 2006. Weinstein then allegedly took her to a children's room where he overpowered her, removed her tampon and proceed to perform oral sex.

Dominique Huett, 35, a New York-based actress, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Tuesday against The Weinstein Company, alleging that Harvey Weinstein pressured her into sex at the Pennisula Hotel in Beverly Hills in 2010 and that his company knew about multiple allegations against him of sexual misconduct dating back to the 1990s.

Haleyi, who first met the powerful movie maker in 2004 at the European premiere of the film "Aviator" in London and worked as a production assistant on a TV show he produced, said the disgraced mogul was relentless.

Haleyi said she only told a few friends about the sex assault and didn't go to police.

The complaint said Weinstein wouldn't take no for answer.

She said she ran into the once-mighty mogul again in Cannes, France, in 2006 and agreed to meet him at his hotel to discuss possible job opportunities back in NY. Women who have come forward with allegations against Weinstein include Lupita Nyong'o, Angelina Jolie, Cara Delevingne and dozens of others. Allred declined to comment on whether they will sue, and whether they will go to the cops about this.

Though the alleged assault may have occurred outside New York's statute of limitations, said Allred "it may be relevant information for law enforcement to have as they investigate Mr. Weinstein".

But Weinstein got in touch afterward and offered her a job on one of his TV productions in NY.

"Taking on a powerful guy like that is too much, it's too intimidating, so what we are seeing is a collective empowerment of women", Herman says. "By that time, I was crying, as I felt completely humiliated and stupid for having been excited about meeting with him". Another article from The New Yorker said that several women alleged he sexually assaulted them. "So within those groups, definitely we shared our horror and just commitment to one another to do whatever we can to make sure that people are outed and that there is justice".

Actresses Rose McGowan, Asia Argento and Lucia Evans say Weinstein forced sex acts on them without consent.

Meanwhile, Ashley Judd, whose accusations against Weinstein were among the first to be made public in reports by The New York Times and The New Yorker three weeks ago, will make her TV debut talking about the scandal on Thursday in an interview with Diane Sawyer that will air throughout the day on the network's various news shows.
