BlackBerry has again launched a new Android smartphone made by TCL.

The upcoming release of the BlackBerry Motion comes after the launch of the Blackberry KEYone back in April.

The presence of 4,000mAh battery makes it the largest battery smartphone from BlackBerry. So, Blackberry users who wish to own a device with the physical QWERTY keyboard, should give this phone a miss.

It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display as opposed to the Keyone's 4.5-inch (1080 x 1620 pixels) screen.

The BlackBerry Motion comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, paired with an Adreno 506 GPU.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 4K video recording. Naturally, the smartphone runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Starting from today, the BlackBerry Motion is available on pre-orders in UAE with a pricing of Dh 1,699 (~$462) and in Saudi Arabia for 1,699 Riyal (~$453). For now, there is no mention from the company regarding the available of the device in the global markets.

The highlight of the Blackberry Motion is the 4000mAh battery inside, which is rated to deliver 32 hours of mixed usage.

The US won't be getting its hands on the BlackBerry Motion immediately. The Motion will include a "home" button with a fingerprint reader, as well as an input jack terraced port USB Type-C.

TCL and BlackBerry are only bringing the Motion to a handful of markets at first, with other markets following this quarter. According to BlackBerry, you can get a 50% charge in just 40 minutes on the plug. Their much vaunted DTEK by BlackBerry security software will also be present on the phone. Additionally, the BlackBerry Motion comes with an IP67 water and dust proof certification.
