  • Rush Limbaugh To Evacuate Florida After Calling Irma A Hoax

After arguing on his radio show that Hurricane Irma is a conspiracy theory created to make people believe in climate change, Rush Limbaugh is evacuating Florida to get out of harm's way. "I'm not going to get into details because of the security nature of things, but it turns out that we will not be able to do the program here tomorrow", Limbaugh said Thursday. But Limbaugh rants, "I wish that not everything that involved news had become corrupted and politicized, but it just has", he said. Doing the show Friday would be "legally impossible". "You don't need a hurricane to hit anywhere", Limbaugh said. "I'm going to reschedule that from parts unknown...uh...where I'm headed".

"The views expressed by the host of this program [are] documented to be nearly always right 99.8 percent of the time", Limbaugh said right before announcing he would be leaving South Florida for parts unknown.

"The TV stations begin reporting this and the panic begins to increase", Limbaugh said on his nationally-syndicated show.

In Limbaugh's Monday comments about the hurricane, he claimed, "There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways to do it". "All I did was remind everybody that there are people throughout levels of government that believe in climate change, it's an emotional issue, and they look at for any evidence they can to prove it and they go nuts with it - and that's exactly what's happening here".

And you can't just fill old milk jugs from the bathtub and forget about it. FEMA says to buy commercially bottled water if at all possible.

Rush Limbaugh has created a storm of his own by suggesting that the "panic" caused by Hurricane Irma benefits retailers, the media and politicians who are seeking action on climate change.

Hurricane Irma has already claimed lives in the Caribbean.

The chances of Irma hitting the Florida coast later this week are growing, according to the National Hurricane Center.

"Please evacuate as we are now telling you", County Administrator Verdenia Baker said Thursday while urging residents to move to a local shelter or stay with family outside the evacuation zone. "Hypocrisy, thy name is Rush Limbaugh". But if, if they are going to approach a hit on the US, you will note that early tracks always have them impacting a major population center.
