  • Developer: Xbox One X's full potential will not be slowed down by its CPU

The one question that Microsoft didn't answer at this year's E3 was when Xbox One X pre-orders is going to start? and the status remains the same till today.

The lack of Xbox One X pre-orders to date has been cause for concern among some fans, prompting rumors in July that the console was getting delayed.

Unity is one of the many different engines that aspiring indie developers use in order to make their games, as its high-quality visuals and wide variety of available platforms can make it easily accessible for anyone that wants to use it. That announcement might simply be confirmation of when an official reveal will be made, but even that is better than the silence over the past few weeks.

This is an Xbox One X exclusive title that went into production back in 2014 and it was supposed to launch alongside Xbox One X. However, it seems like Microsoft is running into some problems and wants to postpone its launch date.

At the same time, Ybarra revealed that Microsoft was hoping that the Xbox One X pre-orders would be available since its introduction in E3 2017, but by then the FCC had the issue under its control and could not succeed. Even at $499, the demand for a console that can rival a PC gaming rig is high.

The news comes from Amazon, who sent out emails to customers who registered their interest in the Xbox One X.

It's a complicated situation, not least because Microsoft's last console, the Xbox One S, supported HDR but not native 4K.

Microsoft are expected to release more information on the specific plans for this year's FanFest soon.
