  • Joi “SJ” Harris died after her bike crashed through the window of a tower in Vancouver

These were pictures from the Vancouver set of the film that appeared earlier in the week.

"In a report by Page Six from the New York Times, Joi "SJ" Harris," was serving as the double for the character Domino, who was not wearing a helmet during the time of the crash. She only joined the sequel last Wednesday after producers decided they needed a different kind of stunt performer for the shoot.

Her tragic death has also prompted questions about the planning that went into the Deadpool 2 stunt, and whether Harris should have been wearing a helmet.

There's a time for everything and while Reynolds can't confirm anything just yet, the celebrity's response certainly hints at the potential use of time travel in Deadpool 2. "I just remember her presence, and I remember when she spoke, she was very, very confident". The cops have registered a complaint and are investigating the matter.

That Ryan Reynolds has teased the possibility of time-travel in next year's Deadpool 2 should come as no surprise to Marvel Comics readers given that Cable is involved in the film.

Through a third party, a member of the Deadpool 2 crew in Vancouver backs up the assertion that producers chose Harris largely for this reason.

Crew members huddled up around Reynolds and bowed their heads after he said a few words in remembrance while on the Vancouver, Canada, filming location. "Our thoughts are with her family, friends and loved ones in this hard time", he said.

According to witnesses, Harris had performed the stunt successfully several times before crashing.

He added: "My heart pours out to them - along with each and every person she touched in this world". The reporter claimed that the stuntman was carried immediately to an Advanced Life Support Ambulance however after 45 minutes the vehicle left the scene without turning on its lights or sirens which meant only one thing. Either way, we send out our deepest condolences to the woman who lost her life doing what she loved.

Harris' death is the second fatal on-set accident in less than a month. "I want to get kids interested through experience".
