  • Carrie Fisher's Daughter Billie Lourd to Inherit Nearly $7 Million

The daughter of the late Carrie Fisher is set to inherit almost $7 million dollars as part of the actress' estate.

The legal papers, obtained by People and filed by the "Star Wars" icon's estate executor, show that Fisher left her personal property to Lourd, her child with talent agent Bryan Lourd.

It's possible Lourd could also collect additional money in trusts not reflected in the probate case. Fisher shared her estate with her mother, Debbie Reynolds, who died a day after her on December 28, 2016.

The estate that Fisher shared with Reynolds is now om the market for $18m and the proceeds from the sale will likely be incorporated into Lourd's trust. King is the trustee of the trust and the instrument's beneficiary is Fisher's daughter, 25-year-old actress Billie Catherine Lourd. It has been heard that the actress has some possibility of inheriting more than the amount of property disclosed.

Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, will inherit almost $7 million worth of properties.

Fisher suffered a heart attack late previous year and passed at the young age of 60.

"If life's not amusing, then it's just true - and that would be unacceptable". In an interview with American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson for Town & Country's September issue, the Scream Queens star revealed that her sense of humor helped her with grief. Even when [my mom] died, that was what got me through that whole thing. "When Debbie died the next day, I could just picture [Fisher] saying, 'Well, she's upstaging me once again, of course - she had to".

However, Billie feels there is "a lot of pressure" on her to continue Carrie's "incredible legacy".

Billie said: "I've always kind of lived in their shadows, and now is the first time in my life when I get to own my life and stand on my own".
