  • People wait in line to attend Taylor Swift's civil case at the Alfred A. Arraj Courthouse in Denver on Tuesday

By 10 a.m., Mueller had taken the stand and was being questioned by his own attorney.

Mueller also testified that one of his station bosses, Hershel Coomer, who is expected to testify, told him that he had met Swift earlier before the show and that "he told me that he had his hands on her butt". He also asked Mueller for a reason why Swift would make up her story, to which the former DJ responded, "I can not".

The legal battle between Taylor Swift and former radio host David Mueller has officially made its way to court, as trial testimony began on Tuesday (August 8).

He's seeking $3 million from the pop superstar.

"This was an assault and Ms Swift reported that it happened".

Former disc jockey David Mueller has acknowledged that a photo of him with his hand behind Taylor Swift is "weird and awkward".

Swift and her mother, Andrea Swift, watched while they were asked if they were familiar with the circumstances of the civil case. "I felt what seemed to be a rib cage or ribs", he said during the first day of testimony.

But Swift's lawyers claim that's not the point; "what's wrong with this picture?"

Mueller has alleged that Haskell had told him he was the one who groped Swift. Mueller's back is turned toward Swift just as it was on the opening day of the trial Monday. A total of eight jurors will be picked for the trial expected to last two weeks in federal court. The notes stated that KYGO program director at Lincoln Financial Media, John Dimick, was prepared to terminate both Mueller and his morning show co-host, Ryan "Ryno" Kliesch, due to insubordination.

According to Swift, Mueller slipped his hand under her dress and grabbed her bare buttocks as the two posed, along with Mueller's girlfriend, during a meet-and-greet session before a June 2013 concert in Denver.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to making empowering statements, but she is using an unconventional method to send a message this week: a lawsuit.

"It was not an accident, it was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life", she said during a deposition. They tracked them down, escorted them out of the facility and called Mueller's station.

He also claimed that he recorded the meeting during which he was let go, but said that the audio was destroyed when he accidentally spilled coffee on his computer. Swift countersued, claiming sexual assault.

"It's possible people in the radio industry could have heard about the incident from me telling them about it", Mueller said.

TMZ reports, that Swift and her lawyer were in court on Tuesday for David Mueller's defamation against her and noted her countersuit is for only $1.

Mueller talked about how he and his girlfriend at the time, Shannon Melcher, had gone to the meet-and-greet for work as KYGO employees despite not being huge fans of Swift's-as numerous other people at the pre-concert event were.
