The dispute involved Landry's girlfriend, who is the mother of his daughter, according to a report from WINZ radio's Andy Slater. I, myself did not call the police. "Jarvis and I are happily raising our attractive daughter and I would like to make a plea to the media that they refrain from spreading this completely false story".

This is now an opportunity for the Miami Dolphins to continue to hold off on extending the contract of Jarvis Landry. The four-year receiver is in the final season of a contract that is scheduled to pay him $893,852, which is a lower salary than over 100 other receivers in the league.

For his career, Landry has caught 288 passes for 3,051 yards and 13 touchdowns in 48 games. He is due $893,850 this season.
