The women who received the photos concluded they were delivered by Bolling because they recognized his phone number from previous correspondence, The Huffington Post reported.

"Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now underway", a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement on Saturday afternoon.

Mr Bolling denies the allegations, and his attorney Michael Bowe told Huffington Post he "will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made".

Fox News has recently faced other sexual harassment allegations. Longtime Fox host Bill O'Reilly, meanwhile, left the network in April after it was revealed he quietly settled multiple sexual harassment suits brought by his former colleagues.

Numerous current and former Fox News hosts have accused Ailes of harassment since he was forced out of the company. When referring to the first female pilot in the United Arab Emirates during a segment on "The Five" in 2014, he said on air that it might be better to characterize her as "boobs on the ground" rather than "boots on the ground".

The original story, by HuffPost, quoted 14 sources from inside Fox News and Fox Business. Our role as an independent, fact-based news organization has never been clearer.

Is Eric Bolling going to be next?!?! In June, Trump retweeted a tweet about Bolling's latest book, The Swamp: Washington's Murky Pool of Corruption and Cronyism and How Trump Can Drain It.

"Fox News Specialists" host Eric Bolling today became the latest Fox News personality to face suspension amidst an investigation into sexual harassment of female colleagues. Bolling can often be seen aggressively defending Trump on the network, and his loyalty has been repaid. All spoke on condition of anonymity on account of being previously or now employed by Fox News or its parent company, the report said.
