  • DWTS Producers Mixed Feelings Casting Sean Spicer

President Trump's former White House Press Secretary has turned down an offer to bust some moves on the next season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", according to TMZ. Then, Scaramucci was sacked after just 10 days as communications director, which prompted further speculation that Spicer would remain at the White House after all. Spicer was spotted near and at various television network offices in NY in July.

While he's apparently too busy for reality TV, Spicer isn't ruling out TV altogether - sources have been saying he's holding meetings with all the major TV networks about who's going to get an exclusive, post-White House interview with him.

While Radar reported just yesterday that nothing was "set in stone", it has now been announced that the former press secretary has turned the offer down.

Spicer signed with Barnett and Michael O'Connor of Washington-based law firm Williams & Connolly on Thursday, choosing Barnett due to his reputation representing politicians and TV correspondents.

Twitter reacted with disappointment to the news that Spicer would not be appearing on Dancing With The Stars after all.

If you had your heart set on seeing Sean Spicer stumble his way through a rumba on live television, sorry about your luck.

Despite sources telling TMZ that Spicer was not a good dancer, many Twitter users still believed that Spicer was the ideal candidate for a spot on the show.
